Terrence H. Robertson began his funeral career in 1992 as an apprentice of Funeral Service in South Carolina. In 1994, he graduated from Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service in Decatur, GA where he achieved National Board Certification. Shortly thereafter, he became a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in South Carolina. In 1995, he completed his undergraduate studies from the University of South Carolina and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with major emphasis in Business Administration and minor in Psychology.

In 1999, he began his funeral service career in Charlotte and attained his Funeral Service License in the state of North Carolina. Shortly thereafter, he was hired by Harry and Bryant Company as a Funeral Director. In the years to follow, he would direct hundreds of funerals and developed an in depth knowledge of local customs in the Charlotte area.

In 2007, Mr. Robertson noticed the growing demand of private owners of cemetery property in need of a cost-effective solution to sell their property they had no use for. To answer this demand, he created American Cemetery Property (visit us at www.americancemeteryproperty.com) This innovative business which is accredited with the Better Business Bureau, was heralded by consumers to be unlike any business of its kind. Today, American Cemetery Property serves markets from Charlotte, NC to Los Angeles, CA. It is considered by many funeral service professionals to be the #1 resource for private cemetery owners in America.

As a continuation to address customer needs as well as the growing trend of discontent with commercialism in the funeral industry, Terrence then formed his own private practice. His practice now answers the demand for superior service offered at a fair price. Mr. Robertson’s reputation he now holds is derived from over 1,000 families he has served throughout his career as well as clergy members and care givers he has worked with. The foundation of his business rests on his four principles and promise which is:
Compassion- That each family should receive the utmost compassion while enduring the most difficult time in their lives.
Dignity- That each family’s loved one deserves the dignity for the life they have lived.
Respect- That respect should be inherent in all of the services we provide.
Fairness- That funeral costs should be fair and reasonable and that families should not be taken advantage of during this vulnerable time.
